Changes coming to BCS!

Dear BCS Client or visitor,

In the coming months, we will be making changes to the way this website is structured and organized.  In fact, we will be making significant changes to the way we do business overall, but more on the nature of those other changes will follow as they continue to develop.  For now, I wanted to specifically let you know in advance about some of our pending website changes.

Key among these changes will be the accessibility of valued information provided to visitors of this website.  These changes are being planned to ensure optimum information is still provided to any parties wishing to initially evaluate the services BCS provides to McHenry County and surrounding area manufacturers.

However, future access to information that provides specific solutions to real manufacturing problems – such as had previously been provided through our QOM section – will be limited only to subscribing Clients of Business Consulting Services.  The reliance and value that Clients and visitors receive from these specific communiqués has evolved over time; frankly, it had become all too apparent over the past couple of years that some visitors to this site had been attempting to glean and utilize valuable consultation from that data.  Such data had always been intended for promotional purposes only.

When it became apparent that visitors were attempting to implement what they had improperly perceived to be guidance from those communiqués – some visitors have contacted me to complain that they did not get the results ‘promised’ in our QOM … despite the fact that no such promises are made in that forum because guidance was not its designed purpose – I began to cut back on the level of detail and volume included in the forum.  Conversely, subscribing Clients have asked for more detail and more value-added information from the forum, as well as more value-added services not currently provided in this website.

So, to provide the value our Clients deserve as well as to ensure properly controlled implementation of guidance provided by our services, we will be adding a new Client Services section to this website exclusively for the access and use of our established business partners.  Visitors to this website will be encouraged to contact our office for more information on the nature of this change and how it will affect their specific accessibility.  Other changes will include a new look overall and updated information, which will provide a more enticing and valuable experience for all our Clients and visitors.  Additional sections will also be created to provide even more, new services for our Clients, including more interactive forums, scheduling and availability options, notification of special promotions available exclusively to subscribing Clients, and more.

We at BCS appreciate the business we have enjoyed with our Clients and the interest expressed by our neighbors since our inception in McHenry County over three years ago.  In 2008, we enjoyed our most profitable year ever, with sales increasing more than 20% over the previous year; and 2009 sales are on track to exceed 2008 despite the economic downturn.  We are continuing to find ways to help our Clients increase the value of their manufacturing operations, whether through increased sales via effective business planning or reduced costs through operating improvements.  The changes we are making to our website and in our business overall will ensure we are able to continue to help your business achieve its goals on into the future.
